Medical Interpretations
Medical Interpretation of Forensic Analysis (MIFA) to support substance abuse testing
When there’s no call for a full psychiatric report, family
courts are open to Medical Interpretation results. So if hair or blood analysis shows a cause
for concern, our medical experts will assess the nature of substance abuse.
Medical interpretation (also known as a ‘Commentary’ or ‘Forensic Analysis’) is not a matter of guesswork. Our medical experts will review the laboratory’s analysis and consider a range of other factors such as client interviews before making a final assessment.
What’s the purpose of medical interpretation?
The results of substance abuse testing are delivered in a complex scientific report, and inevitably it takes an expert to interpret the results. A solicitor or judge won’t have the time or expertise to interpret the medical data, so everything needs to be broken down into non-technical language.
Medical Interpretation of Forensic Analysis (MIFA) takes the form of a written report that can be delivered in court in much the same way as an Expert Witness Statement.
This allows you to feel confident when relaying the result in Court in a manner which is easy to read and understand.
