Lab Test Analysis:

Commentaries and interpretations by a team of clinical experts

Lab Analysis ImageIn any childcare case, a lab test can only tell you one side of the story – a worrying fact that’s led to some spurious decisions in the past. So today, the very best laboratories will add a note of caution, and recommend a full and frank analysis of their test results.

Atkinson Lewis can help. Whether you’re testing for drugs or alcohol, we work with a number of accredited labs who can deliver fast and accurate reports. Though as you’d expect, we never take the lab results at face value...

Each report we receive is submitted to our clinical team, who will commission a full commentary by a suitable expert, such as a Psychologist, Psychiatrist or GP.

Our Lab Test Analysis will consider:

  • Does the test confirm or disprove the suspicions of case workers?
  • Is there a risk of false negatives or positives in the lab results?
  • Do our interviews with the client provide a context for the results?
  • With all points considered, what level of risk does the client present to their children?

Above all, it’s vital to note that results are rarely cut and dried. So our experts will take every shred of evidence into account – and if the case is still open to interpretation after analysis, they’ll present the evidence to a peer review panel, who will deliver a collective decision.

So how can we help you?
Our clinical team is here to offer a considered and professional opinion that you can present in Court. So with or without the added support of an Expert Witness, our report will provide a valid context for all your recommendations.
