supporting you in the Family Courts
Atkinson Lewis is not a laboratory - but we do collect samples for lab analysis, and our clinical experts will analyse and interpret lab results. So naturally, we work closely with various laboratories, both in the UK and overseas – all fully accredited to UKAS standards.
We choose our laboratories carefully, looking for essential qualities such as:
- A track record for producing proven, accurate results
- An acceptable turnaround, from sample collection to analysis
- An effective process for dealing with samples, in line with chain of custody protocols
- A cost effective service that we can access with confidence on behalf of our clients
At present, we work with two hair testing labs, one for blood analysis and one that analyses oral fluid for DNA tests. The standards of each lab are under constant scrutiny, as we strive to continually improve the speed and accuracy of our service.
